Seed the Neighborhood: Announcing Our 2026 Little Free Library Collections!

The sun is coming out, the soil is warming up, and the Como Community Seed Library is thrilled to announce the 2026 little free library locations.

We believe that gardening should be accessible to everyone, right in their own backyard. That’s why we’ve partnered with several amazing hosts to establish little free library collections where you can check out seeds at four key locations across the neighborhood.

You can visit the little free library closest to you to start your garden today.

How It Works

It’s simple: Check out up to 5 seed packets and fill out the form at the QR Code Borrow: Browse the envelopes, find something that excites you, and take it home to plant.

  • Leave the Box: Be responsible and only check out what you will grow.

  • Check Back Often: Collections will be updated frequently.

  • Donate: Have extra seeds from a successful harvest or a packet you didn't quite finish? Contact Dawn at dlamm@comoseedlibrary.org to donate your seeds.

We have selected four convenient locations to host for 2026.

Join the Movement

These libraries are community-powered. By sharing seeds, we are building a more resilient, biodiverse, and beautiful neighborhood.

When you plant your seeds, we’d love to see the progress! Tag us on social media using #ComoCommunitySeedLibrary and show us what’s blooming in your neck of the woods.

Happy planting, Como!
