Free Seed for Garden Dreams Available at a Neighborhood Little Free Library Near You

Are you itching to get your hands in the dirt, try your hand at Winter Sowing or reboot your germination station dreaming of all the wonderful veggies, flowers, and prairie plants you can start from seed?

This growing season Como Community Seed Library is very excited to be able to share an abundance of seed thanks to our generous growing community, the MNSEED Project, Minnesota State Horticultural Society's MNGREEN program, UMN  CCEL volunteers and gracious neighbors. Right now you will find native seed perfect for winter sowing in 6 little free libraries in the Como Park Neighborhood and the North End. These libraries will be updated on a regular basis with seed timed for starting indoors, winter sowing or  planting directly in your garden. Thank you to our hosts for generously sharing space in their Little Free Libraries  this season. Remember to take only what you can grow at the moment and check back for other selections on a regular basis. Please leave the boxes and only take the seed packets. Scan the QR code on the sign for more information at our website. Don’t forget to share pictures of your success by tagging Como_Community_Seed_Library in your social media posts!
